Commies are bad, really bad.

I was looking for some old Soviet propaganda on You Tube to see if there was any similarities to our modern political thinking in this country. The federal government has in the last few decades decided that the states and their citizens are agents of the government. I came across this video during my search and found it interesting. It is a bit long (9 minutes) but well worth the watch.

Would this be allowed in our public schools today? I find it refreshing that the conservative thoughts today on politics are pretty close to this nice little piece of propaganda. Did you notice that even then the producers of this script were worried about the politicians? The other thing I noticed was that the two parties were not even mentioned. Was it because there was still a healthy respect for our nation?

Last November a Russian professor predicted that the U.S. would become 6 different nations after a break down of our economy. I could not find his paper but here is an interview with him. There was a couple of things in it that I thought was very telling in how Russia thinks and how our politicians think. I will get to those in a minute. I need to have an emotional tirade for a second.

This article mentioned something that made me think about was Sarah Palin. Remember her? She was brutalized by the left and the media when she mentioned that Alaska and Russia are only separated by 13 or so miles of water, and yet here in the article Russia is predicting they could soon be reigning over Alaska. Do you think the U.S. would let that happen? And if something like that did happen who would be the first line of defense in Alaska? Washington D.C. or Alaskan Governor? You socialist dink suckers need to pull the altruistic cock out of your mouth long enough to apologize to her. Okay, I feel better.

This professor was asked why he thought the union would break up. He mentioned our debt but he also cited the “vulnerable political setup”, “lack of unified national laws”, and “divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions.” After watching the film which character would have said something like this. Mr. ISM comes to mind. So for the Russian professor he surmises that since we do not have a central power from which to rule we are bound to fail. This makes sense to those who live under socialism, without government control man has no chance at survival. I think our politicians also have this view. If they don’t grab control of the reigns now who will listen to them in the future?

The other point was when I read the article I was somewhat worried. We have states now drafting legislation to reassert the sates sovereignty over federal control, citing the federal governments failure to follow the 9th and 10th Amendments of the Constitution. I see this as a good thing and I thought his prediction had something to do with that. We would have another Civil War and a break up of the Union. But this professor was citing our lack of socialism, I don’t see any way that California becomes a state of China. There is still something left in the American psyche that understands that we are to be a free people.

As long as we let Washington D.C. continue to erode our rights, nothing will change. We as a nation of American Idol watchers do not pay attention to that erosion. If you ask any American they will still claim to be free, even while they show their ID to travel at the airport. How is air travel safer by knowing who you are? Another topic that points out how far we have let politicians make us their subjects. We will try to get to that tomorrow.

For now the Emperor tires and must get to sleep. Remember, if the politicians don’t tax you how will they eat? They depend on you in order to live a life of luxury. Always keep that in mind.
