Can an Emperor bring Freedom???

The lady in church has hope in her soul. That is the difference. Words. They do mean something. To question the first sentence, one must ask, What is the difference between a lady in the bathtub and a lady in church? A thinking person that wishes to inhabit this planet as a free human must always think in the rational objective. You are not allowed to be complacent.  Thus “squirrel stew or a free ham?” (see about)

I just ran this opening passage past the empress, she gave me a look of disdain.  In my kingdom there can be no disdain for the empress. The empress is my measure if the kingdom is doing well.  Anything that would bring disdain to such a beautiful and compassionate woman can only mean something is out of balance.  So with concern I asked “What?” She did not think the visual worked well with the emperors image or his beliefs.  But am I to teach or to scholar the empire, I asked in rebuttal.  There is a difference in words.  My aim, through this blog is to try to get my “kingdom” to understand that freedom is not pretty, nor is it wise to let some one else protect it for you.  It requires a level of strength and vigilance that is missing in modern society.  We take for granted that if we put a sign in our store front “No guns allowed on this property” we are safe from gun violence.  Is this not asinine?

Look how we live today.  We are doing well as subjects to the U.S. government.  We obey them unquestioningly.  We do not have to worry about crime, we have the police to worry about that.  We do not have to worry about greed and fraud, we have the SEC to take care of that.  We do not have to worry about pollution, we have the EPA to worry about that.  We do not have to worry about tainted meat, we have the FDA to worry about that.  We do not have to worry about car safety…… see where I am going with this.  We put our vigilance and freedom into the hands of a selected few.  We actually think this is beneficial.  It cuts down on worry.  It makes us safer.  We trust our government.  There are some of you out there that actually think you deserve the labors of others. Huh?

I stand before you on this day, January 29, 2009, with grave concern for our country. Our government has just voted to demand another $825 billion from you for them to spend on government. That is above and beyond the trillions they have forced you to pay already. They will say that it is for you, but do not be misled. This is nothing more than a way to ensure that they keep there grip on power. Did this bail out loosen any government grip or burden on the population? No, it has added more restrictions and obligations to the public.

The government needs you more than you need them. That is their dirty secret. They know it and a lot of you don’t. Where is their next meal coming from if you don’t pony up the funds? They know you won’t give it up willingly so they draft more and more laws that require you to pay and pay.

I think I will like this Emperor business. I will as Emperor, attempt to bring about the sensibilities in man that made this country great. You would be a fool not to be afraid of freedom. It is dangerous hard work being free. You let your guard down once and the government will control you. But being free has rewards greater than being safe and comfortable.

The Emperor tires. I hoped you liked my joke regarding the Lady in Church. Because I have a million of them. Well, not really. I will attempt to make this a daily lesson. All I ask of you is to take what I have said and think it through. Yes we need government but they should be afraid of us and not the way it is today. Take care, live good and do your best to be free.
